MOSCOW, Jan 11 (PRIME) -- Lukoil Upstream production Nigeria LTD has been registered as an affiliate of Russian oil producer Lukoil, according to the documents seen by PRIME on Friday.
The changes were made on December 19, 2018.
Lukoil CEO Vagit Alekperov said in November that the company is considering joining Italy’s Eni project in Nigeria. Alekperov said that Lukoil and Chevron are jointly fulfilling an option on block 132.
In September 2014, Lukoil entered a deep-sea shelf project on the OML-140 block in Nigeria.
